Introduction of the Association
The A.J.K.A. Shotokan Karate-Do Association is a member of the A.J.K.A. International Karate Association. Nationwide karate instructor training, headed by Sensei Leslie B Safar 9th dan, started in 1985 the only of its kind, and it has become the most successful program of its kind with over 100 black-belt participants. Currently there are over 100 black-belt karate Instructors, 12 karate clubs and over 700 practitioners of karate who belong to the A.J.K.A. Shotokan Karate-Do Association only in Hungary, and there are many more all over the world.

The Organization
The work of the committees is supervised and coordinated by the Board of the A.J.K.A., direct control is exercised by the Chairman of the committee.
Duties of Committees:
- To support, supervise and measure the work performed in the regions and the member associations, within a given area
- To ensure the execution of the regulations defined by the Association and approved of by the General Assembly
- To draw up recommendations regarding the further improvement of the work performed in the area controlled by the committee
- To inform the member associations about the results of their activities, their recommendations as well as recent and upcoming events through the A.J.K.A. website
